Because the majority of the shit people say is flat out bullshit. People play favorites and will rip on Ericsson for things, but will give other people a pass for it, when it costs us more. Abby getting penalties in playoffs. Nah it’s okay he’s abby. Zetterberg making passes that lead to turnover…

I’m always calling out Abby on his taking penalties at the worst time possible thing he has going on. I can’t stand it. I even call out Howie on his unusually large 5 hole and the horrible rebounds he gives up. I agree that Ericsson isn’t the only who makes mistakes every night. They all do. No one is perfect out there - not even Datsyuk or Lidstrom. Kronwall makes a TON of mistakes in front of the net too. I say things all the time about how much of a dumbass play Stuart just made or whatever. If I posted everything I was thinking/yelling at the TV screen, my blog would be so fucking negative. And yeah, I call out Ericsson a lot on things. Is it fair? I don’t know. Does he get a lot of shit from people on here? Oh yeah. It just seems like, to me that is, that he makes the biggest mistakes that leads to goals for the other teams. Does that make it so? No. Just what I’m seeing. If it helps, when Hudler came back to us, I was vehemently against it because 90% of the time he’s not doing anything to help us. But who really cares what I say? Who really cares what everyone on here thinks or says? These guys are professional athletes who get paid millions to play this game. They don’t give a shit about our opinions. They really don’t.

I promise I wasn’t trying to like start shit with you. I think it’s great you defend him - I really do. But I also think you go above and beyond in doing so and guess what? You don’t have to care about my opinion because it’s just that - my opinion and I’m not anyone special. 

I call what I see. And people go above and beyond to throw shit at him, so I do the same but to defend him. I know he fucks up, and it bothers me like everyone else. And I’m not lying when I say this, I’ve seen him blamed for goals he wasn’t on the ice for. :P So I do it to annoy people at the same time as defend him from bullshit like that, because it’s just plain stupid. But hey, if he fucks up I’m happy to sit here and call it. I’ve done it before and will when he does it again which he no doubt will.

Not so much a bitch, because you’re entitled to the opinion, even if I disagree to an extent. But having a man down on the bench in a game we’re playing like this is never a good thing. Even if that man is Ericsson. :P lol. And I’m pretty sure they were dead serious about it, it was sad.
